2019 Summer Fun Fest

On July 13, the City of Vista held the Summer Fun Fest at the ball field at Brengle Terrace Park. The event consisted of various community booths, free food, and law enforcement and firefighting display, the day ended with the showing of a free movie entitled, "Incredibles 2.

The Vista Historical Society had a booth there between Alta Vista Gardens and the Vista Irrigation District. Because of the location of the event at the park, our booth was visited by many people who normally would not attend events that we hold at the museum or participate in.

We were able to give out flyers for our upcoming events. Many thanks to Sharon Larimer for volunteering for the event.

The Vista Historical Museum will be closed for the holidays beginning Friday December 15. The Office will reopen Tuesday January 2 and the Museum will reopen Wednesday January 3.
