On July 15, the City of Vista held the Summer Fun Fest at the ball field at Brengle Terrace Park. The event consisted of various community booths, free food, and law enforcement and firefighting displays. The day ended with the showing of a free movie.
The Vista Historical Society had a booth there next to the Senior Center booth. Because of the location of the event at the park, our booth was visited by many people who normally would not attend events that we hold at the museum or participate in. We were able to give out flyers for our upcoming events. Many thanks to Sharon Larimer for volunteering for the event.
