On July 17, 2021 The Vista Historical Society held this year's Ice cream Social at the museum. This was the first society event at the museum since 2019 because of the pandemic.
Thanks to the help of many volunteers both in preparation for the event and at the event, this was a very successful ice cream social. Around 160 adults and children ate ice cream, ice cream sundaes and root beer floats. They also took advantage of the 14 vendors selling during the social.
Many thanks to the volunteers including John J. Aguilera, Carolyn Chiriboga, Sandi Graham, Spike Harvey, Russell Harvey, Eleanor, Gary, and Anita Hutchins, Janice Klafehn, Ice Cream Social Chair Sharon Larimer, David Larkin, Jim and Carlotta Malone, Terry and Michele Moxley, Patricia Richardson, Barbara Meech, Norm Halus, and Opal Sierra and her son Tony.
Also many thanks to the Miss Vista pageant participants: Priscila Campos, Miss Vista 2020/2021; Jamie Guzman, Miss Vista Princess; Arabella Kriedeman, Miss Teen Vista 2020/2021; Grace Haug, Miss Teen Vista Princess; Irene Faciones, Miss Teen Vista Princess; Julia Kidwell, Miss Teen Vista Princess; Lilly Sherlock, Miss Teen Vista Princess; Nick Pira, Mr. Vista Prince; Ben Celis, Mr. Vista Prince; and Keoni Morgan, Mr. Vista Prince.
