TERRY MOXLEY

Born April 11, 1947, in Urbana Illinois to Dale and Bessie Moxley. Sister Marilyn, deceased, and brother Richard. Raised and schooled in Gibson City IL. I participated and letters in football, basketball and track at Gibson City Unified High School. Attended Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL.
Enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1966. Served in Vietnam 1967-1968. Discharge 1969.
Married Michele Egge in 1982, stepdad to Robert, Michael and Jason Egge.
After discharge from the USMC, I worked for Southwest Bank in Carlsbad, Leucadia, Solana Beach, Escondido and Vista. 1969-1976; Union Bank 1976-1986; Rancho Vista National Bank 1986-1993; Owned Econo Lube n Tune in Vista 1993-1997; worked for DSD Mechanical in San Diego 1998-2005 and Green Mechanical 2005-2016 and 2020-2024.
Past President of Encinitas and Amigos de Vista Lions Clubs; Former member of Kiwanis, Vista Chamber of Commerce, Presently Commander of Vista Memorial Post 7041 of Veterans of Foreign Wars, 1st VP of Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1147 Escondido, Treasurer of Vista Historical Society and former Finance Officer of Alvin Myo Dunn American Legion Post 365 Vista.
Past member of St. Francis Catholic Church, New Community Church in Vista, and now Anthem Church in Vista.
I lived in Fallbrook from 1968-1970, in Vista since 1970.
