The Moonlight Youth Theater held a fundraiser at the Avo Playhouse. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday August 25-27. They showed four movies and included a sing along as part of each movie. Friday was High School Musical. Saturday was Sing and Encanto. Sunday, Hairspray was the movie.
The Society created a PowerPoint about the beginning of the Avo in 1948 and mid-20th century Vista that ran on a continuous loop in the lobby. We also created a handout about the same thing. The movie goers had a lot of fun.
